Since we are still in the early stages of getting to know one another, I think I should warn you that I become fascinated by new things rather easily.  I might also tell you that I have no idea what the jumping off point for this blog should be…  so, I thought I would start with “today’s fascination”.  Here is the story…  I was clicking through blogs that I am fond of.  Many of them are wedding blogs but not all of them.  I came a across a picture on one of those blogs of a wedding that had “food trucks” for their caterer!  I have to admit, I was intrigued!  My oldest son and his fiance are having a rather fun themed wedding next year. So naturally, when I saw this…  my mind starting working.  Their wedding is going to be a vintage Hollywood theme.  Their venue is going to be an old theatre.  Of course, I am thinking…  how cool would food truck caterers be???  Then, I remembered where I live.  Bugger.  No way we have anything like that around here.  I just knew it was a long shot…  but guess what????  There are two in our area which recently began doing business.  I am excited to introduce you to them…  They are “The Silver Spork” and (are you ready for this?) “What the Truck” (I love that name, too fun).  What the Truck turns up at Blues on the Mall (and many other places) which I am told is a really cool way to spend a summer evening.  And, The Silver Spork has spent time at local farmers markets.  I wonder if they serve wine too???  But, I digress…  I LOVE how fun this idea would be for a wedding!  I don’t know if I can get the kids to go for it…  but, I ask you…  How cool is that?
